d3 was used to real-time pre-visualize and output content for Alexandra Burkes BBC live show at the National Lottery.
The content and setdesign was made by d3's creative design department. As always, d3's three-dimensional environment and d3's ability to sequence content to the beats of the track made it very easy for the show designer to create a show quickly and in perfect sync to the music.
The client was invited to view the content and the setdesign weeks before the actual shoot and changes could be made on-the-fly with the client next to the d3 operator, no re-rendering needed.
Well on-site, d3 was slaved to the TV studios midi time code in perfect sync to the music. The d3 operator just had to babysit the system, no really need to operate it.
This project is yet another example how d3 puts together creatitivy, client confidence and playback in one system.
